Briefing of the Club
Health and Sanitation Club is a voluntary grouping of the students of our college. The Club is Co-ordinated by Mr. Apurba Ranjan Dutta, an Associate Professor in the department of Education of the college. The Club provides a platform in which students of the college meet together, discuss, learn, and play an active role on issues related to their health, sanitation and wellbeing. The Club primarily focuses on the health of the student community as well as teaching fraternity. It also puts emphasis on Water, Sanitation and Hygiene of the college as a whole.
Moreover, the Club aims at increasing the knowledge and thoughtful of health and sanitation issues affecting not only the students of the college, but also the people of the surrounding areas in general. The club promotes hygienic lifestyle among the students by organizing Outreach Programmes, Workshops, First-Aid activities and so on. In this regard, the club collaborates with different NGOs, Hospitals and Clubs of the district and organizes various camps such as FREE HEALTH CAMP and BLOOD DONATION CAMP etc. within and outside the college premises.
