Furkating College In Association with Assam College Librarians’ Association Organized an International Webinar on the topic Dealing with “The new Normal”: Life in the Time of the Pandemic on 19th June 2020

A Webinar on the topic Dealing with “The new Normal”: Life in the Time of the Pandemic was organized by the IQAC, Furkating College in collaboration with Assam College Librarians’ Association on 18. 06. 2020. The two Resource Persons present in the webinar were Dr. Darshana Liyanage, Senior Lecturer, Dept. of Sinhala, University of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka and Padmashree Patricia Mukhim, writer, journalist, social activist and Editor, The Shillong Times, Meghalaya. Dr. Apurba saikia, Principal & Chairperson, IQAC, Furkating College delivered the Welcome Address and Dr. Prasanta Kr. Deka, General Secretary, ACLA & Librarian, KC Das Commerce College, Guwahati inaugurated the event. The Vote of thanks was offered by Dr. Birender Pal, Coordinator, ICT Cell, ACLA & Librarian, Kaliabor College. The whole proceedings of the webinar were anchored by Dr. Debashis Baruah, Coordinator, IQAC, Furkating College. The technical support was provided by Dr. Birender Pal from ACLA and Mr. Chandan Bortamuly, Computer faculty of Furkating College. Around three hundred participants from India as well as abroad have participated in the webinar and had meaningful interactions.
